Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi: Is It Worth Your World of Hyatt Points?
We stay on points and do the maths. Here's the CPP and whether the property warrants the splurge.
The Property
The Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi sits on Saadiyat Island, flanked by the Louvre Abu Dhabi and natural beach. It's a low-rise, beautifully landscaped property that feels decidedly un-Abu Dhabi in the best possible way — calm, curated, and private. It's a Category 6 property under World of Hyatt.
Points Cost & Cash Value
At 25,000 points per night for a standard room, you're looking at a straightforward sweet spot redemption. Cash rates hover around AED 2,100 (USD $572) on peak periods, giving you a cent-per-point value of around 2.3¢ — comfortably above the Hyatt threshold for a 'good' redemption.
“At 2.3¢ per point, this redemption beats buying Hyatt points at any cost, and beats most airline alternatives too.”
Room & Amenities
The Deluxe Sea View rooms are the sweet spot. Floor-to-ceiling windows, a generous bathroom with soaking tub, and a private balcony overlooking the Arabian Gulf. The Andaz pool facilities are available to Park Hyatt guests as part of the shared Saadiyat Beach Club.
Dining & Pool
Dining at the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi is a genuine highlight. The beachside restaurant serves a mix of international and Levantine cuisine, and the sundowner cocktail program is one of the best we've encountered in the UAE. Breakfast is included with certain room categories.
For World of Hyatt points holders, the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi is a clear sweet spot redemption. The 2.3¢ CPP comfortably exceeds the program average, the property is genuinely special, and it's an easy overnight from Dubai. Highly recommended.
